VIDEO: The Los Angeles Kings Take Batting Practice At Dodger Stadium

The Los Angeles Kings became Stanley Cup champions after their Game 5 victory against the New York Rangers at Staples Center on Friday night. It is the second Stanley Cup victory for the Kings in the past three years. The Kings and Los Angeles Dodgers have crossed over a few times in the past seasons with the Kings having Dodgers’ Night and the Dodgers having Kings’ Night at their respective homes.

On Tuesday, the Dodgers invited the Kings and the Stanley Cup to Dodger Stadium for batting practice and pre-game ceremonies celebrating their championship. Defenseman Drew Doughty is seen in the above video taking batting practice at the stadium before the Dodgers game against the Colorado Rockies. Jeff Carter of the Kings has baseball experience, having played in Canada with the Dodger’s Jamie Romak.

Hopefully, the Dodgers can steal some of the championship magic from the Kings.
