Watch Joe Davis’s Son Play Catch With Dodgers’ Chris Taylor

Dodgers play-by-play man, Joe Davis, has been missed by fans this spring training. The busiest man in sports has been all over the country calling games on FOX, but he’s finally set to return to his home with the boys in blue on opening day. Joe was at Angel Stadium last night as the Dodgers took on the Angels. He brought his son Blake to the park and the boy had himself a special night.

He had a catch with Chris Taylor.

Blake Davis is living the dream! And he has a cannon of a right arm.

It was nice to see Joe back out at the ballpark and gearing up to call Dodgers games. Fans haven’t heard Davis since the end of last season, which feels like a lifetime ago.

What Happens When Joe Davis is Away?

Knowing Davis will miss a nice slate of games this season, the Dodgers brought aboard MLB Network standout Steven Nelson to add to the broadcast team. Nelson will call roughly 50 games on SportsNet LA this season while Davis tends to his FOX schedule.
