Watch Shohei Ohtani’s First Batting Practice With Dodgers

The addition of two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani to the Dodgers this offseason has been met with a buzz that Los Angeles hasn’t felt in a long time. Ohtani is the best player in the game today, and is the biggest show in baseball.

While he won’t be pitching in 2024, as he recovers from a torn UCL, he will be hitting. He will be taking over as the designated hitter for the Dodgers and will bring a new level of impact to the offense.

Ohtani took his first batting practice as a member of the Dodgers, and it went as well as you could have imagined.

He hit 10 home runs in 21 swings, a sign that his elbow is healing very nicely.

This is great news for the Dodgers, and has fans excited for his debut in a little more than a month.

While it’s just batting practice, Ohtani looks like he’s been attacking his rehab well. He was the MVP in the American League last season, and with his skill set, maybe we see another award coming his way again this year.
