Will Smith Scratched From Dodgers’ Lineup With Back Issue in Final Game Before Korea

The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting set for their final game at Camelback Ranch of the year. After Wednesday’s game against the Seattle Mariners, the Dodgers will get on a plane and head to Korea to open their season in a week against the San Diego Padres.

The Dodgers revealed their initial lineup for Wednesday’s Camelback finale, however, less than an hour before first pitch, they’ve released a new lineup. Will Smith has been scratched from L.A.’s lineup, and was replaced by Austin Barnes.

Smith was scratched with lower back tightness, per Kirsten Watson of SportsNet LA.

Hopefully it’s not too serious of an issue for Smith, who’s about to get on a 13-hour plane ride before getting set for the first two games of the series on March 20 and 21.

We’ll continue to provide updates on Smith when we know more.
