A Wild Goose Steals the Show at Dodgers Game, Nearly Gets Drilled by Baseball

This was supposed to be the Bubble Game. Suddenly, it’s the Bubble Goose Game.

On the same day the Dodgers vs. Tigers game was temporarily delayed due to a massive blown bubble floating over the outfield, a flying goose almost got drilled by a baseball in the bottom of the seventh inning.

David Peralta hit a foul ball to the left side, and a flying goose almost became the victim of what would have been a pretty ugly scene.

Fortunately, the goose narrowly avoided the ball, but it definitely put some fear into it, as the goose started flying circles around Dodger Stadium understanding the near miss it just experienced. Take a look for yourself.

You can go to thousands of baseball games and never experience a bubble-induced delay or a goose nearly getting hit by a baseball. On Wednesday, the fans at Dodger Stadium experienced both.

This is the first time we’ve seen a goose at a Dodgers game since last year’s NLDS, and we know how that one ended. Let’s hope this goose brings better luck.
