Dodgers: 3 LA Superstars Make Top 5 in MLB Jersey Sales Ahead of Opening Day

The Dodgers are understandably one of the most popular teams in MLB right now. Fresh off of a World Series win and packed with talent all across the roster, all eyes are on Los Angeles as the season kicks off on Thursday.

To no one’s surprise, there were several Dodgers to break the Top 10 in MLB jersey sales entering Opening Day. In fact there were 3 guys who made the top 5, blowing away any other team in baseball.

Clayton Kershaw came in at number 5, Cody Bellinger came in at number 1, and Mookie Betts finished as the most popular jersey in baseball. No other teams finished with more than 1 player in the top 10. The Dodgers also had Corey Seager make the list way back at number 13.

Funny enough, another former Dodger also made the top 10. Boston must be a big fan of Kiké Hernández as he finished in 9th place, somehow ahead of Mike Trout.

Other Dodgers News

The Dodgers announced that single-game tickets are going on sale this Friday. Previously held up by capacity numbers, California has adjusted it so that the team is able to potentially sell more tickets.

The Dodgers also announced that they will carry 5 players with them on the taxi squad on the first road trip. Teams are allowed to carry 5 players from the 40-man roster to account for potential injuries in a time where the league is still trying to limit travel.
