Dodgers Become Apart of MLB History For Teams With 100 Wins

The Minnesota Twins won earlier tonight, making them the 4th team in the majors with 100 wins in 2019.

Top Heavy Year In The AL

Four teams with 100 wins is pretty crazy to wrap your head around. The American League has three of these teams. The American League also has a Tigers team with a .291 (46-112) winning percentage, two teams with under a .400 winning percentage, (Baltimore and Kansas City) as well as two teams who are barely above that .400 percentage mark. This is a pretty ugly parity between good teams and bad teams.

National League A Little More Balanced

The National league has three divisions, and in two of them there are three teams over .500 for winning percentages. The only division where this did not happen is the NL West, where the Dodgers NL best record clearly lopsided the division. All this to say, while the Yankees and Astros look scary, the Dodgers are just is good and played in a league with overall better teams in 2019.

  1. I Always remind ignorant AL fanboys of how they the worst teams in baseball in their so called superior league

  2. Uh we play 50% of our games against the 4 pathetic teams in the NL west division. There are.more than a handful of teams that would win 110 plus games playing in this dreadful division. The AL west division is almost as bad.

  3. Did anyone notice that Dodgers, despite winning 9 to 2 still struck out 13 times? Those K’s will be exposed come the PS. On Giants broadcast (From where I live the Dodger’s broadcasts are blacked out due to local pro sports teams’ TV rights when they play Giants), Krukow mentioned that if he had a team preparing to face the Dodgers in the PS he would gather every LHP he could get a hold of.. And if ya watched last night’s game you would understand why he said that. Dodgers score all their 9 runs and hit those 3 HR’s of a RHP and did absolutely NOTHING against those Giant LHP

    1. Paul, why do you keep posting negative stuff about a team you supposedly root for? Do you hate your life that much? Or do you just enjoy trolling? Tell your buddy Krukow to check out the Dodgers’ lefty/righty splits for 2019. They are almost identical. As balanced an offense as there is in MLB.Take away the American League’s DH advantage and they are ahead of your precious Astros. Btw, the lone integral lefty on the Houston staff, Wade Miley, hasn’t made it past the first inning in three of his last four starts. The Astros otherwise don’t have a lefty of note on their staff. Keep talking your mindless anti-Dodgers smack. Those of us with facts will beat you every time.
