Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw’s Weird Moment With a Baseball Draws Yasiel Puig Reaction

To become a professional baseball player and to excel at your craft, you’re going to have to love the game. It’s clear Clayton Kershaw is one of the best pitchers of our generation for following these rules, but it’s hard to imagine this is what he meant by loving the game.

The Dodgers squeaked by with a 1-0 victory against the Padres on Wednesday to record their franchise setting 107th win of the season. In the bottom of the 10th inning with the Dodgers holding a 1-0 lead, Kershaw took to a baseball to show his…affection for the moment.

A strange moment that maybe Kershaw didn’t expect cameras to catch, but when you love the game you do whatever it takes. Former Dodgers teammate Yasiel Puig took a glance at this private moment for Kershaw and showed solidarity that this moment is something that makes sense.

Yes Puig, we guess this is something that makes sense. That of course didn’t stop the internet from giving there thoughts on the situation.

Maybe the internet finally found the secret to how Kershaw has been good for so long after all. Got to show the ball you love it with tenderness and affection.

Whatever Kershaw said or did to the baseball will remain behind closed doors, but at-least with the antics the Dodgers were able to muster up the franchise setting win. Kershaw will continue to show his love for the game with the postseason looming around the corner and chances are the 3-time Cy Young winner will be making a huge impact when the team needs it the most.
