Dodgers: Corey Seager Gets Another Ring in 2020

The hearts of so many people out in the world were broken this week with the news of Dodgers shortstop tying the knot. Corey Seager married his long-time girlfriend/fiance Madisyn this past weekend out at a venue near Nashville, Tennessee.

The 26-year-old World Series champion got the second ring of 2020 with his marriage to Madisyn, though he’s going to have to wait for that ring to come in. The Dodgers shortstop and Madisyn Van Ham started dating in high school and got engaged last December.

Per People, the couple had to make plenty of adjustments to ensure that the ceremony and celebration were pandemic friendly. Temperature checks and COVID-19 screenings were reportedly performed by an on-site nurse for those wondering. Guests also apparently had to sign waivers to confirm that they had not been in contact with anyone infected with the coronavirus within 14 days. All in the name of safety so that everyone could celebrate the Seagers!

We at Dodgers Nation wish Mady and Corey all of the best as they head into this new and exciting adventure!

  1. Wouldn’t you say the hearts of so many women? Why would it be people? Men do not get their hearts broken because a man follows the normal course of action in getting married to a woman. A man looks at her and thinks he got a cutie, congrats.
