Dodgers: Corey Seager Sings for Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show
As the World Champion Dodgers start making their rounds on talk shows over the next few weeks, we’re sure to keep on seeing some absolute gems from players. Already we had Cody Bellinger’s explanation of why he looks high all the time, plus some body blows to MLB and Rob Manfred by Joe Kelly. But one of the more unexpected ones came from Corey Seager of all people.
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 2020 World Series MVP was in the middle of an overall bland interview when he changed it up from lame questioning to a bit of a fan boy moment with the talk show host.
And some singing.
Yes, Seager set up the moment by nervously admitting that he needed to fan out to Fallon.
I gotta throw fan here and say that I really enjoyed ‘Taxi’ as a kid. I loved that movie, especially when you had to start singing to be able to drive…
The shortstop recalled a gem instance from Fallon’s acting career with a rendition of “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole as featured in the 2004 film Taxi starring Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah.

Now I’m not sure whether I want more Seager singing or if he should stick to his day job, but it was a fun moment and definitely a rare showing of his personality to a national audience. But don’t expect a Christman Album to be dropping any time soon.
