Dodgers Credits: More News on Kershaw, Power Rankings, and More
The Los Angeles Dodgers have been snake bitten by injuries all season and recently, the last player the team could afford to have go down took a trip to the DL. That player of course being Clayton Kershaw. After throwing a 60-pitch simulated game, Kershaw experienced back pain and was shortly thereafter shut down. This is the worst case scenario for the Dodgers as Kershaw has carried the team on his back all season long and without him, the starting rotation looks quite toothless.
Dave Roberts said Kershaw's setback makes surgery seem like more of a possibility now. But he has not been told that in reports.

Dave Roberts said he is still hopeful Kershaw won't need surgery and will return this season.

While Dodgers fans are coping with this, news came out that Alex Wood will also be staying on the DL and a fresh batch of power rankings came out. All of that and much more can be found on Dodgers Nation. Make sure to follow us on Twitter also: @Dodgersnation.
