Dodgers Fans Earn Top Spot in Recent Stubhub Report
The Dodgers have one of the more loyal fan bases in the sport of baseball. Thanks to scores of faithful fans, the Dodgers typically lead MLB in attendance, or are at least right near the top, each year. Now, there’s even more data to back up the argument that the franchise has the most passionate fans in all of baseball.
In a recent press release, Stubhub deemed Dodgers fans as the “#1 most committed fanbase of any MLB franchise” based on the fact that 31% of Dodgers fans have purchased tickets for more than one game in the last five years. Which, leads all MLB teams.
Dodgers fans should be proud to be atop the list, and even prouder for the fan base they beat out to claim the top spot. Stubhub listed San Francisco Giants fans as the second most committed fan base. 29% of Giants fans have purchased multiple tickets to multiple games.
Stubhub also announced that the Dodgers and Giants have the second-highest selling rivalry of the 2022 season behind only Yankees-Red Sox.
The ticket exchange and resale company listed the Dodgers June 25th road game in Atlanta as the 7th most in-demand ticket based on sales through March 14th. That series serves as Freddie Freeman’s return to Atlanta since signing with the Dodgers this past offseason.
