Dodgers: Joc Pederson Gifts Fans Wearing His Jersey in Los Angeles a Signed Ball
There’s a reason why Dodgers fans loved Joc Pederson so much, and continue to do so to this day. Joc was drafted by Los Angeles in the 11th round of the 2010 draft out of Palo Alto High School. He came up through the system and made an immediate impact when he debuted in 2014.
This past offseason, Joc took a deal to go play for the Chicago Cubs. He had a better opportunity to play every day and the Dodgers didn’t have the need to fit him into the budget. But even though he moved on to a new team, he didn’t forget his fans out in Los Angeles.
When the Cubs were in town over the weekend to play the Dodgers, Joc set up something special. He had someone go around the ballpark to pick out fans still wearing his Dodger jersey. For those lucky enough to be spotted, they got a signed ball from Pederson.

Dodgers fans all across the stadium wearing his jersey were shocked to be handed a ball signed personally by Pederson. Joc later posted the video on his social media account, and it was pretty awesome to see. He’ll always be loved out in Los Angeles.

Joc had some of the biggest and most clutch playoff moments in recent Dodgers history. The overall stat line might not have always been great, but there was no arguing Joc’s ability to come through most when it mattered.
