Dodgers: LA Rotation Set for Series with the San Diego Padres

With the Dodgers finished steamrolling through the poor Arizona Diamondbacks, they’ll now turn their sights towards another division foe. The team will head down to San Diego for a 3-game series with the Padres.

This will mark the third time these two ball clubs are meeting this season with the Padres leading the season series 4-3. However, things may be different this time around as the Dodgers are getting healthier and playing better baseball while the Friars have gone 4-6 over their last 10 games and were even swept by the Colorado Rockies.

Los Angeles has a chance to gain some ground on San Francisco Giants while also increasing their lead over the Padres. To do so, they’re bringing out the big guns in Julio Urías, Clayton Kershaw, and Trevor Bauer.

Julio, who is enjoying a solid season so far, has yet to face the Padres this year. He’s tied for the second most wins in the league and should put the Dodgers in a good position to win. Meanwhile, Kershaw has pitched twice against San Diego and has a record of 1-1 against them on the season. Bauer has pitched exceptionally well against them this year and will get another chance to face off against Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr. if he’s healthy enough.

It should be another interesting and exciting series that fans should definitely not miss!
