Player of the Day – Victor Arano
Another one of the Dodgers’ signings from Mexico, Arano had a strong debut as a 17 year old in the Arizona League last year. Now 19, he’s the youngest player on the Loons’ roster and has made his way into the rotation. In his first start, he allowed just two hits, a bunt single and a popup that the second baseman couldn’t catch. Three errors likely cost him another inning of work, though he did very well to keep his composure and get out of jams. Arano is definitely one to watch going forward.
