Player of the Day – James Baldwin
While he got off to a slow start, Baldwin is 6 for his last 13 with a pair of homers, a pair of doubles and a triple. The 22-year-old has also stolen six bases in seven attempts. However, contact remains an issue as he’s struck out 18 times in 13 games and is batting just .238 overall. It’s unlikely that James ever becomes an average hitter, which would really be a waste of his excellent tools.
