Player of the Day – Alex Guerrero
It’s only been nine games, but Alex Guerrero has been on a tear with the bat. He’s 14-for-30, batting .467 with a 1.468 OPS. He has eight extra-base hits, five walks and just one strikeout. He also has four three-hit efforts in just nine games. Sure, he’s played half of his games in one of the best hitter’s parks in the minors, but this type of start is Puigian in its’ dominance. Questions about his defense remain, but it may not be long before Guerrero hits his way onto the Dodgers’ roster.
