Players of the Day – Joc Pederson and Alex Guerrero
A two-fer! Both Joc and Alex hit a pair of home runs in yesterday’s game. Joc’s first blast was a no-doubter to left and he knew it was gone as soon as it left the bat. His second was another towering drive just right of dead center. Guerrero’s first hit the batter’s eye just left of center and his second hit a moving fire truck on the street beyond the left field seats. An important note on Joc’s first homer: it came off a lefty and he’s now OPSing a respectable .836 against them with a 1.155 mark overall. Guerrero’s OPS is back up to 1.015.
