Dodgers News: Brusdar Graterol Thanks Fans Following Disappointing End to Dominant Season

Following a disappointing end to the season, Dodgers players have been sending out their thoughts about the year and thanking the fans for their support.

The newest Dodger to head to social media to thank the fans was relief pitcher Brusdar Graterol.

In the post, Graterol shares a picture of himself at Dodger Stadium and lets the fans know he looks forward to seeing them next season.

Despite being swept in three games against the Diamondbacks, Graterol was one of the best performers for the Dodgers this postseason.

In three innings pitched over two appearances, Graterol was nearly perfect as he only gave up one hit. His 0.00 ERA put him in a group of multiple other relief pitchers to not give up a run during the postseason.

Graterol set the tempo for the Dodgers bullpen in Game 2 of the best-of-five series. In two innings of work, he shut down a D-backs offense that was on the verge of breaking through for the second straight game.

His length out of the bullpen helped give the Dodgers a chance to win.

Graterol’s performance in Game 3 also gave the Dodgers a chance to win. After being down 4-0 in the third inning, Graterol came in again to give the Dodgers an easy three outs and keep the team in contention to win the game.

Dodgers fans can expect to see Graterol be one of the bright spots in the team’s bullpen once again next season.

During the regular season, he had a 1.20 ERA in 68 appearances.

Graterol will continue to be a fan favorite in the future as well as he continues to be an elite pitcher out of the bullpen.
