Dodgers News: LA Fans React to Report of Freddie Freeman Changing Agents Amid Free Agency Frustrations
Just two days after wrapping up his Atlanta homecoming, Freddie Freeman was back at the top of the news cycle on Tuesday. According to a report from ESPN’s Buster Olney, Freeman is changing agents based on how his free-agent negotiations unfolded this past winter.
Freeman released a statement noting that the weekend in Atlanta was “emotional” and indicated he’s “working through some issues” with Excel Sports Management. Excel represented him during free agency.
Although Freeman said before first pitch on Tuesday that he’s “happy to be a Dodger” and calling for “closure”, the news set off a whirlwind of reactions from insiders, analysts, and Dodgers fans.

Some just want Freddie to “shake it off”.
Freddie Freeman is a dodger. Get over it.

I’m going to need Freddie Freeman to shake it off. I know the feeling of leaving what was home and wanting to be back because that’s where your heart is but eventually, you have to let go. It happens. Come on, Freddie. We love you in LA!

Of course, the development led some fans to think that Freddie wishes he was still playing for the Braves.

One fan used the opportunity to take a shot at Carlos Correa and Houston.

However, plenty of Dodgers fans had Freeman’s back and downplayed the agent news.

Freddie Freeman continues to produce, despite all that has happened. Glad he is on the Dodgers.

I love Freddie Freeman idc he’ll be fine mentally, he’s still gonna be a leader for the team and the team morale will be fine as long as he keeps hitting as consistently as he has been. He’s already well worth the contract.

I mean the Freddie Freeman stuff is kinda annoying but he's also on pace to match his career-best season in WAR, so whatever.
