Dodgers News: Study Shows Dodger Stadium is MLB’s Most Instagrammed Ballpark
If you didn’t post about it, were you really there.
With the growing trend of influencers living in LA in 2023, taking a trip to Dodger Stadium is now just as much about social media clicks as actually watching a baseball game.
It makes sense in a city where people are using social media the most, Dodger Stadium has been posted on Instagram more than any other venue in baseball.
In a study from aGamble, Chavez Ravine has been named the most Instagrammed place in the MLB. On Instagram, people who post can tag the location that they are at. Dodger Stadium has been tagged over 2.5 million times.
The Dodgers lead that category by more than 600 thousand posts. Fenway Park in Boston comes in second with 1.9 million tags.
Dodger Stadium also is one of the top stadiums when it comes to hashtags. People have used #DodgerStadium on their Instagram posts almost 630 thousand times. Only #YankeeStadium beats out the Dodges with over 641 thousand posts.
Since California leads the country with the percentage of influencers living in the state, it makes sense that four out of the five stadiums in the state rank in the top ten of most Instagrammed venues in baseball.
Oracle Park in San Fransisco, Angel Stadium in Anaheim and Petco Park in San Diego are the fifth, sixth and ninth most geotagged stadiums in the league.
Other stadiums that crack the list are within cities that also have a high population of people using social media. For example, Citi Field and Yankee Stadium in New York made the cut.
Historic venues such as Wrigley Field in Chicago and Fenway Park have been on Instagram a ton, also.
As social media influencers continue to come to LA, Dodger Stadium will continue to be one of Instagram’s most popular places.
