Dodgers News: Yasiel Puig Leaves Game In Eighth Inning Against Cubs
Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig was at it again this afternoon against the Cubs as he made another spectacular catch as he’s been on fire during the series at Wrigley Field.
Already 2-3 this afternoon, Puig is now 6-10 during the series and even has a couple walks after showing some impatience when he came to the big league level.
However, Puig made a spectacular catch in the seventh inning to rob Starlin Castro of a base hit, but seemed to have hurt either his left wrist or thumb.
After telling the trainers that he felt fine, Puig was replaced in the bottom of the eighth inning by Skip Schumaker in the eighth inning as it looks to be a precautionary move from the Dodgers.
