Dodgers Pitcher Makes Exclusive Prospect List for 2024 Season
Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Justin Wrobleski has been named to MLB’s inaugural All-Spring Breakout First Team. MLB staged its first-ever Spring Breakout Games this season, in which all 30 teams got the chance to showcase several of their best prospects in head-to-head competition.
Wrobleski impressed and made the most of his opportunity. After pitching two innings and allowing just one hit while striking out four batters, Wrobleski was named to the First Team. Along with Wrobleski, pitching prospects Rhett Lowder, Paul Skenes, Tink Hence, Brock Selvidge and Jacob Misiorowski also made the list.
An 11th round pick out of Oklahoma State in 2021, Wrobleski has worked his way up the Dodgers’ minor-league ladder. In 2023, Wrobleski appeared in 25 games in High-A, allowing a .244 batting average and posting a 2.90 ERA.
Wrobleski currently ranks as the Dodgers’ No. 16 prospect, per MLB pipeline. Heading into the season, Nick Frasso, River Ryan, Gavin Stone, Jackson Ferris, Payton Martin, Landon Knack and Maddux Bruns are the pitchers who rank ahead of Wrobleski on the Dodgers’ prospect list.
Dodgers pitching prospect Patrick Copen earned Second Team honors as well.
