Dodgers Schedule: LA Names Starting Pitchers for Series with Braves
The Dodgers have gone a perfect 3 for 3 to start this long, 9 game road trip. Following the sweep in Cincy, LA heads to Atlanta for an NLCS rematch with the defending World Champion Braves.
On Thursday, the team officially named the starters for the weekend series at Truist Park. Here’s what Dave Roberts laid out.
The #Dodgers look to keep the perfect road trip intact this weekend in Atlanta. Here are LA's probables for the series:
Friday Julio Urias vs Ian Anderson
Saturday (FOX) Andrew Heaney vs Max Fried
Sunday (ESPN) Tony Gonsolin vs Spencer Strider— Dodgers Nation (@DodgersNation) June 23, 2022
Friday features the only game of the series to be broadcasted on the Dodgers’ broadcast network Sportsnet LA. Left-hander Julio Urias gets the ball for the boys in blue and looks to continue his run of dominance on the bump. Over his last 6 starts, El Culichi has a 2.10 ERA (and that includes an unlucky effort against the Pittsburgh Pirates last month).
2022 Dodgers Regular Season Schedule
Saturday’s game will be on FOX with lefty Andrew Heaney making his second start since returning from the injured list and fourth start of the season overall. Heaney is a perfect 1-0 with a 0.59 ERA over 15.1 innings.
The final game of the series will be on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball and will see right-hander Tony Gonsolin look to become baseball’s first 10 game winner of the season. The Cat Man is 9-0 with an MLB-best 1.58 ERA and looking to cement a roster spot in the upcoming All-Star Game with another victory.
