Dodgers Set Travel Roster For Big League Weekend In San Antonio

Last November it was announced the Los Angeles Dodgers and Texas Rangers would play a two-game series beginning March 20 at the Alamodome in San Antonio as part of Big League Weekend. Over the course of the last few days, manager Don Mattingly named Brett Anderson and Zack Greinke as the starting pitchers.
Mattingly also said Yasiel Puig would make the trip, but the complete roster hadn’t been set. That changed Sunday as the Dodgers posted the full travel roster, via Eric Stephen of True Blue LA:
Pitchers (7): Eric Bedard, Zack Greinke, Pedro Baez, Daniel Coulombe, Yimi Garcia, Juan Nicasio, Joe Wieland
Catchers (3): Yasmani Grandal, Shawn Zarraga, Chris O`Brien
Infielders (7): Adrian Gonzalez, Darwin Barney, Justin Turner, Alex Guerrero, Kiké Hernandez, Buck Britton, Darnell Sweeney
Outfielders (4): Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson, Kyle Jensen, Matt Carson
Stephen also notes the Dodgers will take multiple pitchers from Minor League camp, which opened in full on Saturday. Bedard gets the start on Friday, with first pitch scheduled for 5:05 p.m. PT, and Greinke takes the ball Saturday, which is an 11:05 a.m. PT start.
While the Dodgers will be well-represented in San Antonio, they also have a pair of Cactus League road games in Arizona scheduled both days against the Oakland Athletics (Friday) and Colorado Rockies (Saturday).
As Mattingly indicated last week, he will remain with the club in Arizona while bench coach Tim Wallach is among the coaches traveling to San Antonio.
