Dodgers vs Diamondbacks: Lineups, Pregame Matchups, and More for September 20 – Game 2

If you didn’t get your daily fix of the Dodgers during their wild, come-from-behind 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks this afternoon, then I have some good news for you:

They still have another game tonight!

The Dodgers are getting set for game three of the unusual five-game series against their divisional foe. The Boys in Blue are a dominant 13-3 against the D-Backs this year, and a perfect 6-0 when they face them at Dodger Stadium.

On the bump for the Dodgers is the recently activated Tyler Anderson, who spent the weekend with his wife as they gave birth to a new baby boy.

Anderson has been absolutely lights out against the Diamondbacks in his three career games against them. He’s a perfect 3-0 with a stifling 0.90 ERA across 20 innings.

Dave Roberts picked out a pretty normal lineup for the back-end of the doubleheader.

Mookie Betts, Will Smith, Max Muncy and Cody Bellinger are all back in the lineup after getting the first game off. And after leaving the first game of the doubleheader with what appeared to be an injury, Trea Turner is right back in the lineup batting second.

The D-Backs are throwing out rookie Drey Jameson who will be making his second career start in the Majors. His first came last week against the Padres, when he shut them down across seven scoreless innings.

This will be game 148 of the season for the Dodgers, who currently sit at 103-44, on pace for 114 wins, and just four wins away from breaking the franchise record of 106. First pitch tonight is at 7:10 pm on SNLA.
