Dodgers World Series Tickets Officially on Sale: How to Buy, Prices, and More
Tickets for the World Series have officially gone on sale at Dodger Stadium Thursday. Dodgers fans should purchase tickets as soon as possible since tickets are expected to sell out by the end of the day.
Games 1, 2, 6, and 7 will be played at Dodger Stadium if the team advances. The cheapest ticket is over $800 for a single seat in the top deck via the MLB postseason website. The lowest price on Vivid Seats, Stub Hub, and Seat Geek are over a grand for a single ticket.
Game 1 of the World Series is expected to kick off on Friday, Oct. 25. If the Dodgers were to advance, the first matchup would take place at Dodger Stadium.
Following the Dodgers 8-0 win over the Mets in Game 3 of the NLCS, Los Angeles needs just two more wins to reach the World Series.
Games 4 and 5 are the final matchups played at Citi Field. The Dodgers will return to Los Angeles for Game 6 if necessary.
Although the Dodgers earned a massive win Wednesday night to put the club up 2-1 in the series, the Mets won’t go down without a fight. These next two matchups will be crucial for the Dodgers.
If the Dodgers can win the series in New York, it would give the team a few days of rest before Game 1 of the World Series.
The New York Yankees have a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS. The Yankees are the American League favorite to reach the World Series.
There is speculation that if the World Series is between the Dodgers and Yankees, ticket prices will be sold on the secondary markets for double or triple the price.
Several fans have already contemplated purchasing the pricy tickets. Here are some reactions from fans about the World Series ticket prices.
