First Look at Shohei Ohtani in Dodgers Jersey at Introductory Press Conference
No more photoshops. No more AI deep fakes. No more jersey swaps. We finally have a real picture of Shohei Ohtani in a Dodgers jersey.
Ohtani is officially a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and wore his No. 17 jersey for the first time on Thursday while speaking to the media during his introductory press conference.
Ohtani to the Dodgers has been in the works for years, as the team heavily pursued him when he initially came to the MLB in 2017.
Ohtani ultimately chose the Los Angeles Angels, as the National League didn’t yet have the designated hitter position to allow him to showcase his two-way capabilities.
However, with the DH now in the NL, Ohtani was able to come to the Dodgers, and continue his two-way stardom.
