Joc Pederson and Justin Turner News: Former Dodgers To Be Featured on ESPN, How to Watch

You probably already know this because of the Google Alert you set up for “American Cornhole League,” but just in case you missed it, we wanted to pass along the news that former Dodgers Justin Turner and Joc Pederson will be competing in the ACL’s SuperHole IV event tonight, February 10, and you can watch it! The event kicks off at 9:30 pm Pacific time on ESPN TV or on the ESPN app.

SuperHole IV is a multi-event cornhole series hosted throughout the year where 32 ACL Pros (yes, there are cornhole professionals) are paired with 32 celebrities to compete for charity — culminating in the finals alongside the ACL World Championships, which take place this August. The prelim involving Turner and Pederson will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona, and features a “football vs. baseball” theme. In addition to the two baseball stars, football players Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tyler Lockett will also compete.

The ACL launched in 2016 with the tagline, “Anyone can play, anyone can win.” SuperHole kicked off three years later, and previous participants include Daniel Jones, Sam Darnold, Doug Flutie, Rashad Jennings, Mac Jones, Devonta Smith, Jay Cutler, Shemar Moore, Phil Hellmuth, David Lim, Dawn Staley, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Dale Moss, Chuck Lidell, Vernon Davis, Zach Miller, Dion Dawkins, Kyle Van Noy, Greg Gaines, Terry Kirby, Brett Young, and Jeff Mauro. Flutie is a two-time SuperHole champion.

(Oh, I just said it out loud. “SuperHole” is probably a play on the name of the big football game that’s coming up this weekend.)

JT is excited to take his love of cornhole to the bright lights of ESPN.

“Me and my wife Kourtney love to play cornhole, we even had it at our wedding — it’s actually one of our favorite pastimes. Hopefully I can go out there and make her proud!”

Pederson’s competitive drive is what drew him to the event.

“When I heard Justin was playing I couldn’t resist the opportunity to go out and compete against him. Sure, we’re friends but once the bags and boards are out all that goes out the window!”

Things are going to get crazy, tonight at 9:30 on ESPN!
