MLB Insider Picks Dodgers as Baseball’s Best Run Franchise
Over the last decade-plus, the Dodgers have been one of the more successful teams across Major League Baseball in terms of winning. They have made the playoffs for 11 straight years, and they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.
The organization has built itself into a true powerhouse, and it has been impressive to see. They are consistently fielding competitive teams, while also planning for the future. It has created sustainable winning for this team, and no other team has been able to match it.
LA has been so successful over the years that MLB insider Ken Rosenthal is picking the Dodgers as the best-run franchise in baseball, even with their lack of playoff success over the years. He appeared on the Fair Territory show and broke it all down.
“I would say the best run franchise and I’ll even go with them over some other ones that are equally well run, or perhaps as well run. I would say it’s the Los Angeles Dodgers.”
The Dodgers may not have all the titles to show for their winning ways, but we can’t take for granted what the organization has built. They legitimately have a chance to win the World Series every single season, and most teams can’t say that to their fans.
They are always looking at different ways to upgrade the roster and use their financial muscle to back that up. While they may not always flex their muscle when they should, they typically make smart baseball decisions.
“They’ve performed remarkably under the (Andrew) Friedman/Dave Roberts regime. They are in the playoffs virtually every year. They have one of the best farm systems in the game virtually every year. Yes they have more money no doubt about it and they generally use it quite well but in terms of putting a competitive, winning team on the field every season, giving their fans something to look forward to every season. No team has done it as consistently well over a longer period than the Dodgers.”

Over the years, winning the NL West has become something of a given for this Dodgers team, and that in itself shows how dominant they have been. While winning the World Series is the ultimate goal, especially in Los Angeles, we can’t take away what has been built before our eyes.
LA has been one of the better teams in baseball for a long time now, and they will likely continue to do the same going forward. They are set up every well to contend for the long-term, and every Dodgers fan should be ecstatic about that.
