Odd Interaction Between Mookie Betts and Former Dodger Corey Seager Causes Stir Online

World Series Game 3 went the way of the Texas Rangers who downed the Arizona Diamondbacks on a final of 3-1 to take a 2-1 series lead. For as right as everything went for Texas, it felt at times like the opposite for Dodgers star turned MLB correspondent Mookie Betts who took in the game in a sort of social media role.

During his time at Chase Field on Monday, Betts got a question in with 2023 Roberto Clemente Award winner Aaron Judge, was spotted laughing it up with star D-backs rookie Corbin Carroll, and drew the ire of some fans online with his statements on Trevor Bauer.

But he wasn’t done there. Baseball fans also speculated wildly after a clip of a reunion between himself and former Dodger teammate Corey Seager went viral.

Depending on your view, you may see old friends horsing around or Betts saying something that got under Seager’s skin.

One fan on Instagram said, “that didn’t look friendly.” Some jokingly said that Corey didn’t want to catch Mookie’s playoff cold streak.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) shared similar opinions.
