Dodgers Notes: Glasnow Dominates, Buehler Delayed More, Ohtani Breaks Record and More
The Dodgers broke their losing streak behind a strong effort from starter Tyler Glasnow on Sunday against the New York Mets. He finished the game going eight innings, allowing zero runs and striking out 10. Outfielder Andy Pages hit his first career major league home run in helping to get the win.
Within the game, Shohei Ohtani hit the 176th home run of his career, surpassing Hideki Matsui for most home runs by a Japanese-born player. Ohtani also will have some artifacts entered into the Hall of Fame for a new exhibit.
Max Muncy opened up about the team’s recent struggles and Walker Buehler’s next rehab start date was announced.
