Shohei Ohtani Hits First Home Run of Dodgers Career: Video

The wait is over.

Shohei Ohtani has finally hit the first home run of his Dodgers career.

In the bottom of the seventh inning on Wednesday, April 3 against the San Francisco Giants, Ohtani took San Francisco Giants left-handed pitcher Taylor Rogers deep. Really deep.

Ohtani crushed the ball 430 feet to deep right field, and hit it 105.6 mph off the bat.

Everyone at Dodger Stadium immediately knew it was gone.

Here’s a video of the homer:

Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain even called it right before it happened:

Ohtani’s home run gave the Dodgers a 5-3 lead, and sent the entire fan base into a frenzy.
