Should Dodgers Trade For Shane Bieber? LA Linked to Guardians Ace, Potential Trade Packages
The MLB All-Star break is finally here, and we have a quick week off before a stretch of important baseball as the trade deadline looms.
The Dodgers find themselves in a great spot, sitting in first place in the National League West despite all the injuries.
The team has had a dominant offense, averaging 5.6 runs per game, but has struggled on the pitching side of things. As the trade deadline nears, the Dodgers desperately need to add some pitching, both in the rotation and in the bullpen.
One name that figures to be at the top of their list is Cleveland Guardians ace Shane Bieber. While Bieber’s 3.77 ERA would be his highest since his rookie year, the potential for the two-time All-Star and one-time Cy Young Award winner is obviously there.
