Trayce Thompson’s Rarely Seen Wife Jillian Wishes Dodgers Outfielder Well Ahead of WBC
Dodgers outfielder Trayce Thompson is away from the club while representing Great Britain in the World Baseball Classic. Trayce and Team GB are gearing up to face Mookie Betts, Will Smith, and Team USA tonight in Arizona. Ahead of the match, the Dodgers social media team posted a video on Twitter where players’ wives and families are wishing their significant others good luck in the tournament.
Brianna Betts and daughter Kynlee wish papa Mookie well. Chelsea shared her love and pride for Freddie Freeman, and Will got some nice words from his wife and his parents. But a huge chunk of time was dedicated to Trayce who comes from a family of basketball stars. Among the well-wishers from Trayce were his brothers Mychel and Klay Thompson, his dad Mychal, and his rarely seen wife Jillian who was joined by the couple’s adorable toddler.
“Hi dada! We just wanted to wish you good luck in the World Baseball Classic. We’re so proud and excited for you to represent Team Great Britain. We love you so much and we can’t wait to see you soon.”
Trayce stays off social media and carries a generally quiet persona around the clubhouse, so not too much is known about the outfielder off the field. Well, your answer is he’s married to Jillian and they have a beautiful baby boy.
Trayce returned to the Dodgers in a trade last season and is aiming to lock down his opening day roster spot for 2023 this spring. He’s struggled out of the gate this spring but will have an opportunity to show he belongs during this tournament, something manager Dave Roberts will be watching from afar.
