Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Beat Phillies 5-0, Kershaw Masterful
After last night’s 4-0 victory, the Dodgers had ace Clayton Kershaw on the mound this afternoon as he and his major league leading 1.88 ERA looked to keep the momentum going.
Andre Ethier returned to the lineup and A.J. Ellis kept his promise that he’d play tonight after getting hit on his left knee late in last night’s game.
With Arizona leading big in Pittsburgh, the Dodgers needed a victory to keep their comfortable 8.5 game NL West lead as they start to set their sights on the best record in baseball.
Kershaw hasn’t beaten the Phillies in his young career as the Dodgers look to pick up another victory after a strong outing from Zack Greinke last night.
Let’s take a look at the tweets from tonight’s game.
FINAL: Dodgers 5, Phillies 0. The Dodgers are 42-8 in their last 50 games and have a 8.5 game lead atop the NL West.
