Walker Buehler Officially Sends Message to Red Sox Fans After Leaving Dodgers
Walker Buehler won’t be returning to the Los Angeles Dodgers next season, but instead, will join the Boston Red Sox in the American League East. Buehler officially addressed Red Sox fans in a social media post.
“What up Boston? #0 here… See y’all soon,” Buehler wrote in a post on X.

Though Buehler will be wearing a different uniform next season, he forever cemented his place in Dodgers history after his lights out performance in the postseason. The right-hander pitched 10 scoreless innings throughout October after struggling with his command in the regular season.
Before entering free agency, Buehler proved to teams that he could shine when the lights were brightest. But Buehler’s name will forever be remembered in Dodgers lore because of his heroics in the ninth inning of Game 5 of the World Series where he pitched in relief on one day of rest.
The right-hander may not be returning to Los Angeles for the 2025 season, but Buehler’s performance in the Fall Classic didn’t go unnoticed by the organization.
“What Walker did, what he has done for us, what he did for us this year, his teammates, that does not go lost on us,” general manager Brandon Gomes said last month.
Buehler could very well have a bounce back season as he is coming off one of the most dominant postseason performance. After two Tommy John surgeries, Buehler proved he still had what it takes to be a great pitcher.
