Apple TV Releasing 3-Part Docuseries on Dodgers World Series Win Over Yankees
The Los Angeles Dodgers won the franchise’s eighth World Series trophy this past October.
While doing so in a dominant fashion, there were so many details that made the victory as improbable as it was. Finally, the full story will soon be told.

Apple TV+ has been carrying MLB games since 2022 and will continue to do so this upcoming season. They are also releasing a three-part documentary on the Dodgers World Series win over the New York Yankees on March 28 entitled “Fight for Glory: 2024 World Series.”
Both teams are followed on the way to their Fall Classic battle as there will be exclusive interviews and behind the scenes coverage leading up to the Dodgers victory.
Apple released a press statement about the documentary Monday.
“The forthcoming season will also be accompanied by Fight For Glory: 2024 World Series on Apple TV+ — the first all-access docuseries exploring the dramatic, high-stakes world of the World Series where the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers battle to capture the most storied trophy in American sports. The new three-part documentary offers a never-before-seen view of each team’s journey through the postseason, with exclusive access to behind-the-scenes coverage and interviews with players, coaches, fans, journalists, and family members.
“The project is produced in partnership with MLB and Imagine Documentaries; R.J. Cutler’s This Machine, a part of Sony Pictures Television; and five-time World Series Champion, executive producer Derek Jeter, alongside his production company, Cap 2 Productions.”
The Dodgers overcame so many injuries, drama, and outside noise on the way to the title. Part of the reason why Los Angeles is sitting on top of the baseball world is Freddie Freeman.
His four World Series home runs — including the first-ever walk off grand slam in MLB history to secure Game 1 — earned him World Series MVP honors.
The Dodgers will start the quest to become baseball’s first repeat champions in a quarter-century in Japan on March 18.
