Dodgers’ Andrew Friedman Opens Door For More Roster Additions

The Los Angeles Dodgers roster is one of the most dynamic and explosive in the history of baseball. Los Angeles has plenty of talent on this team, and some could confuse them with being an All-Star squad.

We can thank the president of baseball operations, Andrew Friedman, for the stacked team he created this offseason. Friedman was ultra-aggressive this winter, signing the two best free agents on the market.

He also made other impactful signings around the edges to make the Dodgers arguably the deepest team in the league. However, even with all these signings and trades L.A. made, Friedman left the door open for more roster additions.

In a recent interview with our very own Doug McKain, Friedman said they will ‘continue to explore avenues’ to improve this team if need be.

“In our DNA, we can never say ‘we’re done.’ Continue to have conversations, but we feel really good about this team, and not just the 26 guys but the depth behind it. That being said we’ll continue to explore avenues, and if there’s ways we can get better, then we won’t hesitate.”

You have to love this team. No matter how stacked they may look on paper, the front office, in particular, Freidman is never content. He is always willing to push the boundaries and improve his team if necessary.

In all honesty, he may need to do so. Injuries are inevitable, and for the past few years, the Boys in Blue have been hindered on that front, especially with their pitchers.

We hope that’s not the case this season, but one could never be too sure. The Dodgers have already suffered several injuries before the season’s first pitch. Anything can happen, and Friedman is prepared for anything that comes his team’s way.

We hope that’s not the case, as the Dodgers have all the talent they need to get over the top. If worse comes to worse, we know the 47-year-old will do whatever it takes to bring in more talent.

  1. REALLY? We’re calling your bluff Andrew. You have the deferred money courtesy of Shohei Ohtani. Sign Blake Snell ASAP or continue to have him dominate and stick it up LA’s ass. It’s a NO BRAINER!
