The Los Angeles Dodgers drop the first of a three-game series vs. the San Diego Padres 5-1, and look to bounce back and snap their five-game losing streak.

Dropping to 12-12 the Dodgers still find themselves holding on to first place in the NL West, as no team in the division currently has a winning record. Still some Dodger fans are upset following the sweep by the Marlins when news came down that Marlins’ second baseman Dee Gordon was suspended by the MLB for PEDs.
