Boy those morons in the front office believe in throwing that kid to the wolves. First the Mets then the Cubs, Atlanta was easy, now the Giants? What do they want>? Another 90 pitch 4 inning outing? The kid is good, but he is FAR from big league ready
Michael Norris Third game was Rockies, not Braves. But, I’m with you. If they want to limit his innings, then give him another day between starts. In the last one against the Rockies, he had the number 8 and 9 hitters coming up. Why not give him a chance to get his win. If either of them get on base, then lift him for the lead off guy. Another 10 or 12 pitches wouldn’t have hurt him.
GaryPeck1 Michael Norris You are right,.,,I blew that one…BRAIN FART! I agree 10 or 12 would have been ok. He was doing ok but that high pitch count is because of inexperience……do not want another Karl Spooner
