Dodgers Fans Overwhelmingly Pick Texas Rangers to Beat Arizona Diamondbacks in World Series

Fans at Dodger Stadium unfortunately saw their Boys in Blue suffer another early postseason exit to end the 2023 season.

Now on the couch, many Dodgers fans grew even more restless after their conquerors in Arizona beat the Phillies to make the World Series despite an 84-win regular season.

The outcome begged the question of just who the Dodger faithful would root for between the Diamondbacks and the AL champion Rangers and a predictable result manifested among many fans.

Corey Seager headlines a revived Texas squad as the former Dodgers shortstop is back to his postseason heroics once again.

Against Arizona closer Paul Sewald in Game 1 of the Fall Classic, Seager jumped on a first pitch fastball and launched it to right field to tie the affair at five in the bottom of the ninth.

Rangers right fielder Adolis Garcia’s own postseason legend grew tenfold as in extra innings the Cuban international picked up where he left off from his ALCS MVP series.

El Bombi took a 3-1 fastball from Diamondbacks reliever Miguel Castro and sent Globe Life Field into a frenzy with the first World Series walk-off home run since Max Muncy in the 2018 rendition.

Garcia became the single season postseason leader in RBI on his thunderous swing and kicked off the World Series with a bang, running up his total to 22 across the first 13 games.

Dodger fans seem to be on the Rangers’ bandwagon not just because they defeated the Astros in seven games but also have a chance to beat LA’s division rival for a championship.

Texas failed to capture a title in back to back seasons to start the 2010s but they’ll have plenty of support from those back in LA to get it done for their first trophy in franchise history.

  1. Why would you root for an American league team? I’m a Dodger fan through and through since 1951 and i have never pulled for an American league team! So Seager is doing good, it doesn’t help us one bit!! The D-backs beat us fair and square and they beat the Phillies fair and square. They took it to Texas last night big time. I would much rather the team that beat us win it all. Come on blue, get behind the Arizona boys. they deserve it.
