Dodgers: Fans React to Mookie Betts Golf Swing at PGA Event

Dodgers superstar Mookie Betts has hit the links this weekend. The outfielder swapped out his baseball bat for a golf club and headed up north to play in the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The crossover event got reactions from both the golf and MLB world.

As you’d expect, the comments had some funny things to say.

For any PGA fan over the last 20 years, this next comment will hit you right in the giggles.

The source material:

You’ll notice no reaction from official MLB accounts because the lockout is still in effect thanks to greedy owners.

On the equipment side of things, Mookie’s bag features a Taylormade SIM2 driver, a Ping fairway wood, Miura TC-201 irons, and custom stamped Titleist Vokey wedges, and SeeMore M7 putter. This info is courtesy of golfwrx.com.

At the start of play on Saturday, Mookie and his playing partner J.J. Spaun sit -8 under par, tied for 83rd place in the Pro-Am. The All-Star will be picking up the clubs again this week at the 6th annual Justin Turner Golf Classic on Monday.
