Dodgers Game Updates vs Royals: Bobby Miller Faces Rookie Making MLB Debut

The Dodgers roll into Kansas City coming off a series win in Colorado. They enter this new series with the Royals sitting in second place in the NL West, 2 games back of the Arizona Diamondbacks. LA’s pitching is set up for success as rookie Bobby Miller (3-1, 4.13) gets the ball for game one and is in the midst of a tough stretch for the first time as a big leaguer. He’s seemingly identified where things have gone a little wrong and should be in a better position to succeed in this series.

The Royals are sending rookie Alec Marsh (0-0, 0.00) to the mound who is making his MLB debut. He’s Kansas City’s number 14 prospect per MLB Pipeline.

As expected, struggling rookie Miguel Vargas is on the bench again as Mookie Betts gets another start at second base. Other than that, no surprises 1-9 in the order.
