Dodgers: Justin Turner Attends UFC 270 with Two Former LA Teammates

The Dodgers have been a tight knit group over the last few years. LA’s clubhouse chemistry has been a big reason the team has appeared in three of the last five World Series. Inevitably, some players move on to other teams, but that doesn’t mean those old Chavez Ravine relationships just dissolve.

Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner reunited with Kiké Hernández and Joe Kelly at UFC 270 over the weekend.

Hernández signed with the Boston Red Sox last offseason after five seasons with the Dodgers. He had a modest regular season OPS of .786, but Hernández exploded in the 2021 postseason. Kiké became the first player in playoff history to record 12 hits in a four-game span.

The Dodgers signed Joe Kelly away from Boston before the 2019 season. Kelly posted a 3.59 ERA in three seasons with LA and is currently a free agent.

Regardless of their current affiliations, JT, Kike, and Mariarchi Joe are still good friends thanks to their Dodgers days.
