MLB trade rumors ran a tweet that included the link to an article that touched on Justin Turner. It discusses Justin Turner’s openness to ‘change positions’ and possibly play first base, should the Dodgers pursue soon-to-be free agent, Anthony Rendon. Here’s the tweet.

Perhaps I am the only grown adult with a sophomoric mind, but the first time I read the tweet, I also chuckled at the phrasing. When Kourtney Turner make jokes out of the Michael Scott playbook though, the world laughs.

People love a couple on Twitter who joke with each other. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend come to mind. It shows a human side of players and their wives that we can forget to recognize. If social media exists for anything good, lighter side and humor has to be the best reason. On top of that, Kourtney Turner’s opinions on Twitter have never come without a sense of humor. Her comments on umpiring when there have been questionable strike calls have always been met with laughter.
Justin Turner At First Base?
Dodger fans are obviously most interested on whether this will all matter. Justin Turner being a team player and being open to moving is not surprising. Justin has always been a team player. Will the Dodgers be able to court Anthony Rendon in to coming to Los Angeles? This off-season will be very interesting.
When i first saw the tweet on Twitter i sure did LOL some of the players wives on Twitter are better follows then the players themselves.
Yes, they will court Anthony Rendon just like they courted Bryce Harper and we all know how that worked out, eh? Unless someone in Dodger Management takes over or Friedman has an adjustment of attitude, they will offer some short term deal that will be an insult to the player and he will go somewhere else. Name me the last top tier FA that the Dodgers signed… You have to go back to Zach Greinke. Free Agency is just a time to posture for our Front Office… They have no intention of doing something that might cut into their compensation/bonuses…

Turner did amazing this post season. Coming back from injury and he produced great.
We need two to three aces or power starters to compete in the playoffs against the better better teams. Right now the Dodgers have one ace in Buehler and untested pitchers in Urias,May and Ginsolin. That’s why the Dodgers need to sign one of the three ,Cole,Strasburg if he opts out and Wheeler. We should sign lefty reliever Smith to work in conjunction with Jansen to close games. Trade pieces are Pederson,Stripling Barnes ,and CT3 or Hernandez to acquire a right hand bat.Let Hill and Ryu walk. Ryu had the year of his life and Hill is too injury prone. Lots of work to do for AF and the front office. Need some new talented faces to move foward to a World Championship. The fans are tired of hearing about salary cap restrictions. Open up the wallet and get it done. There really should be no excuses.

again, Dodgers have a lot of holes to fill…..each year the same problem…need closers, need starters, need right handed hitter and need a new manager who has passed baseball 101…..first four starters bat 260 plus and last five bat average 200 plus…never make the playoffs and survive…….if player is continually injured, why keep him…..why put additional pressure on players to perform to a stat…..it didn’t work during the season and it sure didn’t work during playoffs…..how about the 62+ strikeouts in playoffs……shows the team isn’t ready to step up to the next level and not choke……..and the manager says, “it’s only one game” as heard in interviews all season long…..Dodgers are a better team than what they have been putting on the field
