Player of the Day – Joc Pederson
Young Joc hadn’t homered in a week, so he decided to go for two. Adding a double and a single, the 21 year old missed the cycle by a triple. He now has the same amount of extra base hits as strikeouts (9). He also has walked more (12) than he’s struck out. To add to that ridiculous stat line, Pederson has stolen four bases. If Don Mattingly wasn’t trying to juggle playing time for four outfielders, the kid would be up already.
