Player of the Day – Tyler Ogle
Ogle got off to a slow start, batting .132 in 18 games during the month of April. Since then, he’s hit the ball well, with a .381 mark in May and a .316 average in June.
Ogle’s overall OPS is up to .822 with 33 walks and 31 strikeouts. He’s struggled against lefties, hitting just .143 against them. Ogle is 23 and playing in the Cal League, but he’s been logging more innings at catcher and is one of only a few legitimate catching prospects in the system.
