Dodgers News: Brusdar Graterol To Welcome New Baby With the New Year

Many Dodgers players have been busy this offseason whether that’s training for the upcoming season, planning and having a wedding, or announcing that a new baby is on the way.

This winter, Brusdar Graterol shares a social media post about a new addition to his little family:

Although he doesn’t announce when the baby is due or what the gender is yet, we do know that this will officially make the right-handed pitcher a father during the upcoming season.

The Smiths just welcomed a baby girl at the end of the 2022 season and Mookie Betts and his wife are expecting another one on the way. Plus, both Dustin May and Chris Taylor got married in the month of December. The Dodgers family just keeps growing and we love to see it.

Graterol made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Minnesota Twins before the reliever was traded to the Dodgers in the winter heading into the 2020 season.

During his first season with the team in LA, he helped contribute to the Dodgers’ World Series win by posting a 3.72 ERA across his 9 innings of work in the postseason that year.

In his most recent season with the Dodgers, he battled with a few minor injuries but still pieced together a solid 46 innings of work. He finished the 2022 year with a 3.26 ERA, 43 strikeouts, and a 0.99 WHIP.

The 29-year-old is expected to return with the Dodgers for the upcoming season. Congratulations to Graterol and good luck with fatherhood! We look forward to seeing you take the mound this upcoming season.
