Dodgers News: Dave Roberts Will Coach in the All-Star Game
The Dodgers will finally host the All-Star Game this summer after a very long wait. Fans in Los Angeles were supposed to get the game in 2020 before a global pandemic brought baseball and the sports world to a grinding halt, along with everything else.
But after a long wait. the game comes to Los Angeles this July. And the Dodgers are hoping to have some good representation. Trea Turner and Mookie Betts already led the first round of voting last week at their positions, and more LA talent could be moving up.
But the Dodgers WILL have a coach in the game. Braves manager Brian Snitker announced that Dave Roberts would be on the coaching staff for the All-Star Game this year. The AL and NL Pennant winners from the season prior are the managers for All-Star games.

It’s not often that we see Cody Bellinger too heated, but last week brought enough struggles to make that happen. It came on a pitch against the Reds’ Tyler Mahle, and Cody appeared to ask the umpire for time out. When it wasn’t granted, he went down looking at a fastball right down the middle. Bellinger was not happy. What followed was one of the first times all season that we’ve seen Cody go off.
